Strep throat. Blarg.

 Flew up to Boise and got to see my dad in the hospital. Despite having leukemia, he's in good spirits and responding well to treatment. I gave him the hat. 

 The fall weather was beautiful and only a bit chilly. Dad was able to walk around the hospital often. 

 I loved spending time with my siblings. They are hilarious!

 Dad's going through chemo, which means his hair is falling out. He asked Jeffrey to buzz it.

Two baldies. It's so awesome that two of my brothers work so close to the hospital and can stop in and see dad often.

It was hard to leave. 

 Brielle went to Texas, so Junie stayed at our house. We had so much fun!

 Back in Idaho, dad finally was able to leave the hospital. He had quite a welcome home.

 Sydney was a unicorn. The ward party was AWESOME! Halloween in AZ weather is so fun. We had a chili, mac & cheese, cornbread, pie dinner, fun booths for the kids, then trunk or treating.

Trick or treating in our neighborhood was GREAT. Most everyone sat on their front porches. It was nice to meet and talk to so many people.

My dad IS super dad... he's kickin leukemia's butt! After a week of chemo, they let him go outside without a pole. He called me today sounding super chipper and grateful. Still more treatment to come, but he's responding really well so far. XOXOX Love you dad!!! Can't wait to fly up to see you next week! 

Our welcoming reception when we got home from the hospital today! We were overcome. There are so many kind and loving people in our world. Love to all of you from Clint and Patty. We will be home for a month until a bone marrow match is found, and then it will be a month in St. Luke's in Boise followed by 100 days within 30 minutes of the hospital.
