The biggest thing that happened this month was that Jon was in the Akin Center Theatre's production of Fiddler on the Roof! I got to see it twice, my parents and Vanessa came to see him in it, Dennis and Pam saw it, Sharon saw it, and Maleah and other friends saw it, too. It was so, so so good.
Here is what else happened in July 2013:
Boys running in the sprinklers in our yard.
Getting our fireworks on in Moxee with our friends the Hammonds, Divises, and Carlsons.
The kids caught a grasshopper.
Playing Candyland.
Grandma and Grandpa Kennington came to visit!!
Justin had swimming lessons at the YMCA.
Picking blueberries in Terrace Heights.

Science lesson for today: The boys watched a wasp grab a squash bug and fly away with it! Yikes!
Justin flushed a Dollar Store toy down the basement toilet..... my dad and Jon took the toilet out and tried to fish it out, but it was STUCK. It was an old toilet, so we bought a new one. Thank you dad for installing it!!!

Today's menu will mostly consist of popsicles.
Is marriage year 9 the year of the appliances? We just had to buy a new oven, and now our clothes dyer is out..... I shouldn't complain, though. We bought he dryer 9 years ago for $75 at a yard sale. Off to hang clothes outside on the line....
Some little person(s) in our house plugged in my hot glue gun and made lovely designs on the wall. We are glad they did not hurt themselves, but are not happy that the texture is coming off with it!
ddy left his play clothes in the car." --Justin, age 4 (We laughed.... it sounds like Jon has clothes for when he is playing, but he really means clothes for the musical he's in.)
Sooooo done cooking. Bring on the fireworks!!
Last night the kids and I were watching old home movies. There was lots of giggling. "Look at how little I was!" I love how a 4-year-old thinks being 3 years old was soooo long ago.
Jon moved to the TV to the basement.... this is serious, folks. It's supposed to get to 108 degrees today in Yakima!
Aaaaaaand the fireworks prepping begins. (Bang! Bang!) A little late this year, aren't you neighborhood?
Went to work this morning.... saw an older gentleman riding a bike, while texting, while smoking a cigarette. Now that's multi-tasking.
