May 2020

May felt a little more "normal" as we got used to the pandemic and some restrictions lessened. But finding these was like winning the lottery!

Saying happy birthday to friends is like this...

Brynn is 6! She wanted a blue cake with Emmett on top.

School school school school at home.

We all got tired of Zooming so much.

The hummingbirds love the feeders and we love watching them!

We have dubbed Thursday "YouTube Night" and the kids love picking what to watch for an hour.

Uh oh.. spelling tests.

The Flagstaff cousins came over.

Jon got these sodas and colored Skittles. Watch what happens....

A mask for Sydney, a mask for her stuffie.

Since we're home all the time, we get pretty silly.

Ready, set, GO!!!!

Quotable Sniders

Don't beat yourself up because you haven't completed XYZ. Be patient with yourself.

“God is a patient creator. Elder Richard L. Evans taught, ‘There seems to be little evidence that the Creator of the universe was ever in a hurry.’ … Each day (of the creation) was good. God was content with what he had created thus far. He wasn’t concerned that on day two they had not yet created beautiful flowers and trees. God was perfectly fine with no animals on day four. … At the end of day five, God did not say, ‘After all this work and all this time, all that I have to show for my effort is fish!’ … Each individual day or stage is good. Even the imperfect stages.”

Justin: "So the dog has been outside like a whole Simpsons episode."
That's how we're measuring time now.
The kids started with S1E1 when we went into quarantine, and now they're on S14.... DOH!

Dallin building a catapult for school.
Because his first one wasn’t big enough???

Justin: I want to watch tv.
Me: I want to be skinny & have $1 million. We don't always get what we want.
Justin: Well, you could go on a diet.

Dallin got out of his last Zoom meeting this morning and lazily placed his headphones on the dining table.
“Done with school.”
He’s a freshman now.
This is weird.
