We had a bunch of family visiting, so we went to the Wilfelife Zoo north of us in Litchfield Park. We loved it! If you go, be prepared for A LOT of walking. The kids got pretty tired. Bring water and lots of little snacks. Plan to stay the whole day if you want to see everything. There is so much to see! Some of it was indoors, and a lot was outdoors. There are lots of mature trees, but still lots of open area--so I definitely recommend going on a day that isn't too hot. January was perfect!
