July 2014

Yay for summer roadtrips! We hopped in our van with plans to visit lots and lots of people in Yakima, Boise, Fruitland, and Ontario. But then, as we were pulling into La Grande, Oregon.... our van brakes were grinding. It would take them a day just to get the parts. So we hopped in a rental car and got to Yakima in one piece. Then picked up the van on the way back.

We visited so many family and friends! It was fun to see everyone and show Brynn around. It seemed weird that we didn't live there anymore.
June and Jacob Woodall.

Maddie and Alex Berthon.

Grandpa Dennis Snider.

Cousin Steven Snider.

Great Grandpa Kennington.

Carson and Anna Kennington.

Besides that, in July we did this:
Played in the yard a lot, with water!

Spent a lot of time playing with Brynn.
Set off some fireworks! While waiting for the real fireworks to begin.
It's almost fireworks time!
Laughed at Brynn and her squishy face.
Beat up on daddy.

Quotable Sniders

Staying one step ahead of my boys is actually the hardest part of my day... and it starts early. *Sigh

We're just chillin over here in eastern Idaho with our 80-degree summer weather.... sorry 100-degree Yakima friends.

Mid-morning.... "Can it be lunch now?" --Justin

That's just our possessed Bob the Builder toy making crazy noises outside.... no worries!

How we celebrated our anniversary.... dropped all of our kids off and went to Olive Garden. Then went on a walk along the river paths and watched the psycho bridge jumpers.

What can I say about being married to Jon Snider for 10 years? I have never been bored. He always has my back. He makes me laugh. And now we have four beautiful kids. Life really couldn't be better.

Sometimes when your kid is naughty, you are actually proud because it took brains to come up with that little scheme (example: Justin using pliers to turn on the outside water... what a genius/stinker).

Dentist actually said to me: "You have nice teeth. Thank you for taking care of them." Also, I liked the Ultra Sonic teeth cleaning better than traditional scraping.

Brynn was 7 lbs 15 oz at birth..... now at 2 months old she is nearly 12 lbs. Yeah, I think she's eating enough.

Tony Akin, the music from Les Mis is still going through my head from Saturday. The cast did an AMAZING job. So emotional, so well done. Such great talent in Yakima!

Justin said he can't remember what his bed looks like. Guess it's time to head home tomorrow.

Road trip! Heading west because 90 isn't hot enough....

They should really just make gray Playdough.... since that is the color it ends up becoming after my kids mix all of the colors together.

That Felicia girl who used to have our phone number really needs to pay her bills!

Overheard in our van the other day: "Quit telling me how to drive, I've been driving longer than you've been alive!" Is it just my kids or are all little kids somehow super knowledgeable about driving?
