British Isles Day 6: Guernsey Island

Guernsey Island was quaint and cute.

It was the only British land occupied by Nazis during WWII.

The high tide and low tide difference is extreeeeme.

We saw a castle (with gardens mom loved), some spots mentioned in the book (Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society), a Victor Hugo statue, Guernsey cows, and a tiny church.
