Day 7: Exploring Playa, touring the aviary, enjoying the beach, food, more walking and shopping.
WALKING TRAIL
We just wanted a relaxing day of moseying around and seeing what we see. First we went on a little trail near a nice neighborhood. The plant life was amazing and it took us to a small area of ruins.
XAMAN HA AVIARY
We hadn't planned on touring this, but it was RIGHT THERE, so we said, why not?
We got to see many cool birds up close and personal!
A big pile of dung thanks to termites.
PLAYA PLAYA PLAYA
So so so so good!
The shopping here was busy and fun.
So much cool pottery.
