Europe Day 5

After a lovely breakfast at Casey's friend's house (omelette, gluten-free bread, etc), we headed into Nancy, France, where Casey and his family lived during one year of his schooling.

As we were driving around, we saw this. Looks like they had unearthed something really old!

Nancy was very... fancy! Beyond this gate was a beautiful park where I played with Mary.

 Nancy town square.

I mean, really. Out of a movie or something!

 Amazing cathedral in Nancy.

After we left Nancy, we headed to Metz, France, to walk around and have lunch.

We said goodbye to our lovely travel companions! They dropped us at the train station and headed back to Germany. We boarded to the train for Paris!

We got off the train, then walked a few blocks to our hotel. Then we walked to the Seine River! The streets were super crazy and confusing, and there were people everywhere.  We waited in a cute little park until it was time for our little boat cruise!

Jon picked the perfect time for this boat cruise. We got to the Eiffel Tower just as it had its sparkly light show for the night.

Amazing!!!

People everywhere, all along the river. It was a little chilly, but we walked our legs off all the way back to the hotel.
